James Coleman White Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Coleman White of Mount Airy, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Bishop and Virginia Wheatley White. He is survived by: his wife Estelle Dalton White; his children, Janet (Al Rohrer), Aprile (Chris Thompson) and Jay; his daughter-in-law Susan White; his grandchildren, Cole Stewart, Casey, Caleb Thomas, Sabra White, Nathan Thompson and Kinley Thompson; his great grandchildren, Cayleigh Thomas and Cassidee Thomas; his sister Shirley; and his brother-in-law Teddy Williams.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Dover Baptist Church (179 Dover Church Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030). The inurnment will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Dover Baptist Church Cemetery (179 Dover Church Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
