He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: John Harper and Mary Frances Lee McCraw; wife: Betty Jo Edwards McCraw; children: Jarrod McCraw (Amber), Daniel McCraw (Beth), and Kelly McCraw King (Travis); grandchildren: Breanna Goins Smith (John), Harper Kade McCraw, Ally Elizabeth McCraw, Lacy Omelia Goins, Hadley Jane McCraw, Kate Ansley McCraw, Ellie Grace King, Hollis Kathleen McCraw, and Casen Edward McCraw; brother: Jerry McCraw (Janice); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Shelvy Edwards (Roger), Bobby Sikes, Lois Harmon, and Judy Lundy; deceased family: Kristin Olivia Goins, Michael Shane Goins, Arless Harper McCraw (Kathleen), Bobby Lou McCraw Galyean (Zane), Willard Clay Edwards (Nancy), Joyce Edwards Sikes, Jerry Dale Harmon, and Donald Lee Lundy; other: Reverend John Smith and Brother James Collins; and several special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (137 Antioch Ave, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
