He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Rufus and Betty Lou Wright Moore; and his son Richard Moore. He is survived by: his significant other Miss Marie Wright; his children, Shelia (Anthony Stewart), Jessica (Brandon Hudson), April Collins (Enrique Deckland) and Brandon Moore; and his brothers, Gary (Rita Moore), Randy (Dianne "Rabbit" Moore) and Dennis Moore. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
