She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester McHargue and Octa Mae Eagle McHargue; her husband James Andrew Mahaley; and her siblings, Inez Hill, Margie Brown, Evelyn McHargue, Mary Kate McHargue and Luke McHargue.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Loman; her son-in-law Rev. Richard Loman; her sons, Rick Mahaley and Randy Mahaley (Melissa); her grandchildren, Kurt Zimmerman, Chad Zimmerman, Ryan Mahaley, Tyler Mahaley, Alyssa Mahaley, Hazel, Silas, Emmy, Brody Mahaley and Clayton Zimmerman; her brothers, Charles McHargue and Floyd McHargue (Twilla); and her sister-in-law Lyl McHargue. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trading Ford Baptist Church (3600 Long Ferry Rd, Salisbury, NC 28146). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
