It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Julene Howard Sherrill of Mount Airy, North Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Howard and Maggie Little Howard; her son Aaron Michael Sherrill; and her brothers, Jack and Little Howard.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Harry McClure Sherrill; her sons, Jay Sherrill (Shelia), Trent Sherrill (Kim) and Myron Sherrill (Lisa); her grandchildren, Coby, Chase, Bryce, Hallie, Colt Sherrill, Laura Spence (Eric) and Patrick Grenier; and her daughter-in-law Emily Belcher (Scott).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
The family requests no flowers but per Mrs. Sherril, donations may be made in her honor to some needy student in high school or college or to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 1427 Edgewood Dr Suite 101, Mt Airy, NC 27030.
