He was predeceased by : his parents, Kolmer Love and Betsy Mills Love. He is survived by : his wife Teresa Joyce; his son Kurt Levi Mark Love; his siblings, Christopher Love, Janice Yarbrough and Shelia Heath; his father-in-law Delmar Joyce; and his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Frye, Toni Love, Misty Joyce, Brian Joyce, CJ Connelly and Kent Heath.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Indian Grove Baptist Church (467 Indian Grove Church Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Indian Grove Family Cemetery.
