He is survived by: his mother Violet Lou Crotts Pelfrey; his sons, Gavin (Lauren Pelfrey) and Jacob (Adriane Pelfrey); his grandchildren, Asher Pelfrey, Seneca Pelfrey and Max Pelfrey; his sisters, Tammy Gunter and Jenny (Jeff Harvey); his nieces, Grace Gunter (Jackie Justice) and Taylor (Andrew Sawyers); his great-nieces, Zoey Sawyers, Lily Sawyers and Ella Jane Sawyers; his great-nephew Brody Sawyers; and his partner's children, John Ross and Grace Ross.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at the Edwards Family Cemetery.
