She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnett Jefferson Cecil and Nellie Lee Allred Cecil; her former husband Hayzen Richard Surratt; her husband Lester Lee "Howard" Surratt, Jr.; and her siblings, Reitha Kaye Cecil Ramey, Billy Ray Cecil, Bobby Jefferson Cecil and Garnett Jefferson "Jay" Cecil, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Jenua "Gina" (Marty Nester), Julia Johnson, Melissa (Doug Carter) and Tracy Webster; her grandchildren, Candice Combs, Maggie (Josh Miller), Ethen Carter and Jesse Nester; and her sisters, Mattie Sue (Neil Easter) and Teena (Calvin Moxley). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
