She is survived by: her son Kevin Haynes (Jennifer Bowman); her grandchildren, Rylee Giles (Winston Giles) and Garret Haynes (Morgan Steelman); her great grandchildren, Winnie Beth Giles and Worth Garrison Haynes; and her siblings, Martha Sechrist, Bertha Shepherd and James "Sonny" Simons.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
