He was predeceased by: his parents, Rawley Lee Haynes, Sr. and Katherine Dowell; his grandson D. J. Haynes; and his siblings, Martha Haynes, Barbara Morton, Steve Haynes and Jerry Leftwich.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie Bowman Haynes; his children, David Brian Haynes (Shannon) and Michelle "Micki" Haynes Moser (Ricky); his grandchildren, Thomas McKinney, Rebekah Browder (Derek), Shawn Leftwich, Cody Moser (Meagan), Hannah Haynes, Kelly Davis (Austin) and Brittany Moser; his great grandchildren, Bentley Browder, Rilynn Browder, Lincoln McKinney, Sophie Leftwich, Tucker Leftwich, Maverick Davis, Aria Moser and Maddox Davis; his sister Shirley Raycraft; his sister-in-law Sharon Haynes; and his grandchildren, Levi Nicola and Haleigh Nicola.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the True Vine Baptist Church (2231 N Andy Griffith Pkwy, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the same location.
