He was predeceased by: his parents, Dock Golding and Allie Flippin Golding; and his siblings, Leon Golding (Harvey Barnes), Dub Golding (Peggy), Mondale Lawrence (Graham), Charles Golding (Judy) and Rachel Gentry (Don Beane).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mayes Golding; his daughter Tammy Stacks; his son-in-law Tim; his son Dale; his daughter-in-law Melissa Golding; his grandchildren, Taylor Haynes (Jordan), Abby Hunter (Worth), Isaac Stacks, Elijah Stacks (Leea) and Allie Stacks (Ashton Stacks); his great grandchildren, Raylan Craig Hunter, Natalie Caroline Haynes, Evie Grey Hunter and Noah Dale Haynes; and his siblings, Connie Barnes, Artis Golding (Jean), Harold Golding (Trudy), Joe Golding (Sandra), Shyrell Boyette (Bob), Sarah Lou Beane and Lillar Hayes (Carl).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Services (206 W Pine St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the Golding Family Cemetery (89 towards Lowgap on right., Mount Airy, NC 27030).
Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
