He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bowman and Carrie Durham Bowman; and his sister Merle Bowman Lambert. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wagoner Bowman; his sons, Matthew Bowman (Kim) and Todd Bowman (Pam Glastetter); his grandchildren, Jenna Stoneman (Thomas), Morgan Bowman and Peyton Bowman (Kyla Gunter); his great grandchildren, Addilyn Stoneman and Casen Stoneman; and his sister Phyllis Bowman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church (922 Banner St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
