She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonah Boyd and Agnes Boyd. She is survived by: her husband James Monroe Johnson; her children, Chris Johnson (Tammy) and Drew Johnson (Shannon); her grandchildren, Samuel Johnson (Mariah), Ally Stanke (Tyler) and Brady Johnson; her great grandchildren, Frank Zephyr Keogh-Meleca and Osiris Cohen Keogh-Johnson; and her brother Glen Boyd (Pat).
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Baptist Church (922 Banner St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church (922 Banner St, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to alz.org (Alzheimer's Association).
