She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude McMillian and Martha Guynn McMillian; and her son Jay Jackson. She is survived by: her sons, Randy Jackson (Sheila), Fredrick Jackson (Teresa) and Scott Jackson; her stepgrandchildren, Misty Karriker, Dustin, Crystal Rutledge and Jeff; her siblings, Sally Jordan, Ann Ayers (Troy), Jean Goad (Glary), Burt McMillian (Brenda) and Jasper "Jack" McMillian; and her pet Turner.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Peoples Church (218 Gospel Time Way, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
