He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his daughter Christy (Alain); his grandchildren, Amber Miller and Austin Conner (Abby); his great grandchildren, Jettsyn Lee Conner, Emmi-Jo Austyn Conner and Amelia Rose Kennedy; and his siblings-in-law, Arvil Gammons (Janie), Alton Gammons (Carol) and Linda Gammons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Westfield Friends Cemetery (3161 Old Westfield Road, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041).
