He is survived by: his wife Linda Ewing Pierce; his daughter Julee; his son-in-law Rick Staton; his sons, Edward Pierce, Todd (Merita Pierce) and Michael Pierce; and his stepsons, Nathan Herrington and Aaron Herrington. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
