We are sad to announce that, on November 29, 2025, at the age of 97, Zelma Katrina Adams Hiatt of Mount Airy, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville McKinley and Lilla Gammons Adams; her husband William Franklin Hiatt; her son Jimmy Franklin Hiatt; her great grandchild Kristin Olivia Goins; and her siblings, Myrtle Adams Branch, Mabel Adams Goad, Walter Adams, Wesley Crawford Adams and Winford Reid Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Hiatt King and William Anthony "Tony" Hiatt; her grandchildren, Travis King (Kelly), Jessica Hiatt Bennett and Katie Hiatt Key (Bradley); her great grandchildren, Ellie King, Breanna Goins Smith, John, Lacy Goins, Lucy Bennett, Gunnar Bennett, Lilla Key and Summer Key; and her sister Irona Adams Ledford.
