It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Becky Dunn of Mount Gilead, North Carolina, who passed away on August 22, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Thompson and Ruth Harris Thompson; her husband Harold "Scott" Dunn; her siblings, Philip, Brad Thompson and Argene McKeithan; and her in-laws, Harold and Mary Sue Dunn.
She is survived by: her son Harold "Todd" Dunn (Sarah); her granddaughter Caitlyn Elizabeth Dunn of Southport; and her siblings, Tony Surratt (Dempsey), Sam Thompson, Marie Bowles (Jim), Alice Richardson (Phillip), Jason Thompson (Reba) and Brenda Marley (Larry).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church (569 Liberty Hill Church Rd, Mt Gilead, NC 27306). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
