He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lefler and Sadie Thompson Lefler. He is survived by: his wife Martha Cole Lefler; his children, Karen Burroughs (Kevin), Tammy Batten (Dennis), Allison Turner (Myron) and Brian Lefler (Teresa); his grandchildren, Cole Burroughs, Trent Burroughs, Mark Batten, Katie Batten, Brianna Butner, Jennifer Lefler, Clay Turner, Wade Turner and Morgan Turner; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Batten, William Butner, Thurmond West V, Bryce West and Brooklyn Smith.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Mt. Gilead Fire Department.
