He is survived by: his wife Cindy King of Mt. Gilead, NC; his daughters, Fawn Stephens (Jun Crisco) of Troy, NC and April Wallace (Dustin) of Norwood, NC; his siblings, Angie Suggs (Ray) of Arden, NC, Lisa Meadows (Shane) of Arden, NC, Brenda Sheldrick (Paul) of Hendersonville and Bob Miller (Annette) of Asheville, NC; his son-in-law Kevin Stephens of Mount Gilead, NC; his grandchildren, Taylor Stephens (Moses Vanhoy) of Troy, NC, Matthew Stephens (Nala Smith) of Mt. Gilead, NC and Austin King of Mt. Gilead, NC; Gene King and Sheri Meadows. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Woodrun Clubhouse (938 Woodrun Dr, Mt Gilead, NC 27306).
