She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Edward and Sarah Lee Pearson Blanton; her brother Kenneth Ray Blanton; her daughter Danyel Oates Hill; and her grandsons, Dalton Pierce Hill and Cody Lee Moore.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Keith Oates, Sr.; and her children, Kenna Leigh Moore and Robert Keith Oates, Jr..
