With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carl Gardner (Mount Holly, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carl left this world on December 2, 2025 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Gardner and Mary Ussery Gardner; his great grandchild Ariyah Marie; and his son Kenny Westmoreland. He is survived by: his wife Karen Smith Gardner; his children, Starla Eldridge (Ray Eldridge), Tasha Taylor (Michael Taylor) and Dale LeGrand (Dana LeGrand); his grandchildren, Timothy, Aaron Westmoreland, Jacob, Eric LeGrand (Lakelyn), Mackenzie (Marcus Sanders), Payton, Anthony and Gracie Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Callahan, Millie and Isaiah Sanders. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters and in-laws.

A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Spiritual Guidance Church (609 E Charlotte Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
