He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl O'Donoghue Sr. and Macie Conner O'Donoghue; his siblings, Kim Duncan, Sonny Paxton, Perry O'Donoghue, Carolyn O'Donoghue and Teresa O'Donoghue; and his cousin Bo Conner.
He is survived by: his wife Debra O'Donoghue; his daughters, Stephanie Martin (Gary) and Jamie O'Donoghue; his siblings, JoAnn Bain (Lloyd) of Wilmington, Janie Hicks of Cherokee, Terry Garrett (William) of Stanley and Sharon Rice of Belmont; his grandchildren, Chelsea Martin, Tori Martin, Ethan Martin, Jaycee Gentry and Makayla Gentry; and his close friends, Dean Morgan and Eugene Chapman.
