She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Smith and Marilyn Smith; and her brother-in-law Randy Price. She is survived by: her husband Willie Dameron; her children, Cristal Brown, Christin McKay, Carol "Keri" Canipe (Jerry) and Christopher "Chip" McKay; and her sisters, Marilyn "Snooky" Price and Michele Hammer (Taft). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
