He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Lee Wilson Sr. and Martha Jane Wilson; and his wife Rose Dunn Wilson. He is survived by: his children, Danny Wilson (Jennifer), Chip Wilson (Teresa) and Liz Wilson; his grandchildren, Danny, Tim, Josie, Hannah, Samuel, Lisa and Justin; his great grandchildren, Harlow and Atlas; and his siblings, Kenny Wilson (Sherry) and Elaine Culberson (Milas). He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Holly. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Hillcrest Garden Cemetery (1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
