He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bruhn and Janet Bruhn. He is survived by: his wife Rita Flickinger Bruhn; his son Arthur James Bruhn "AJ" (Rachel Lee); his stepsons, Matthew Malta (Katy) and Todd Malta (Candace); and his siblings, David Bruhn, Lenore Bruhn Murphy (late Kevin), Maribeth Bruhn Pieniazek (Terry), Jeanette Bruhn Kropp (Randy), Jeffrey Bruhn and Gunner Bruhn (Aretha Hoyt).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James's memory to Gaston County Animal Care and Enforcement, an organization he ardently supported.
