We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2025, at the age of 74, Joseph Hockersmith (Mount Holly, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Hockersmith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilborn Otis Hockersmith and Dorothy Smart Hockersmith; his wife Carol "Jeanie" Hockersmith; his daughter Cathy Jean; and his siblings, Virginia, Beverly and Fred.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Hockersmith (Lauren), Cora Moss (Jeffrey), April Dawn Pina (Jeffrey Crane) and Lisa Macario; and his sisters, Cynthia and Julie. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benson Funeral & Cremation Services (101 Oak Grove St, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
