She was predeceased by: her father Dr. Leonard Stone; and her husband John H. Shaver (Jack). She is survived by: her mother Elizabeth Stone; her sons, John Shaver (Charlotte) and Tom Shaver (Linda); and her grandson Nicholas Shaver (Erica) of Charlotte, NC..
One of her proudest achievements was having helped the Johnson City Symphony Orchestra survive the COVID pandemic as the chairperson of the symphony board of directors.
