With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nellie Pettus (Mount Holly, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack R. Rhyne and Flossie Farrington Rhyne; her husband Mack W. Pettus; her son Robert L. Pettus; and her grandsons, Jason, Travis and Matthew Pettus.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Peeler, David Pettus (Evelyn) and Kathy Fisher; her siblings, Barbara Beal, Christine Howell (Scottie), Jack Rhyne (Sandy) and Martha Butler; and her sister-in-law June Pettus. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; a number of great and great-great grandchildren.
