He is survived by: his wife Hazel Michael; his mother-in-law Bonnie Beatty; and his brothers-in-law, James and John Beatty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered not only for his contributions to his profession and hobbies but also for the warmth he brought into the lives of those around him.
