He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Henderson and Harvey Sharpe; his siblings, Edward Hildebrand (Donna) and Tonda Stover (Pete); and his grandparents, Harold and Berniece Holzen.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hildebrand; his son Bobby; his daughter-in-law Angel Hildebrand; his daughter Tammy; his son-in-law Jim Dedmon; his grandchildren, Clarence (Jessica Taylor), Robert (Madison Hildebrand), John Hildebrand, Timothy Taylor and JJ Gibson; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Jaxon Taylor, Kinslee and Bubba Hildebrand; his sisters, Melanie (Tom Sortman) and Chris Nicholson (Ray); and his brother-in-law Ray Lanier (Lucy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
