He is survived by: his son Walter "Tim" Grimes (Annette); his grandchildren, Heather Briggs (Brandon), Vanessa Richardson (Mark), Matthew Briggs, Theresa Grimes, Robert Grimes (Essence) and Tori Meyer (Dane); his sister-in-law Terry Bratt; his niece Beth Bowen; and his nephews, Tommy Gooding and David Gooding. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
