He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Henry and Mary Elizabeth Wilson Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise Fisher Nichols; his daughter Tiffany Eller (Darren); and his siblings, Tommy Nichols (Ruby), Ray Nichols, Allen Nichols (Diane), Jerry Nichols and Eulene Vassey.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at the Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery (1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
