He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl McCoig and Bradine Wooten McCoig; his brothers, Larry McCoig and Dean McCoig; and his pets, Peanut, Petey and Oreo.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Broome (Tim), Michael McCoig (Crystal) and Jamie McCoig (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ashley Broome, Lucas Broome, Colton Broome, Klorissa Kopka (Zack) and Chelsea Hawkins (Michael); and his brothers, Johnny McCoig (Sue) and Jerry McCoig.
