She is survived by: her spouse Willie Carl Bowden; her children, Patricia B. Hawes (Dennis) of Henrico and Roger Bowden (Vickie) of Mint Hill, NC; her grandchildren, David Hawes, Jason Hawes, Tanya Halley, Amy Cooke, Heather Evans, Amanda Van De Velde and James Carl Bowden; her sister Pearline; and her sister-in-law Jane Ennis of Durham.
