He was predeceased by: his parents, McEnnis Darden and Myrtie Brock Darden. He is survived by: his wife Betty Rose Holloman Darden; his children, Angela Chavez of Mt. Olive, Jennifer (Joel) of Leon, Sarah Howell (Robbie) of Goldsboro and Jeff Darden (Leena) of Mt. Olive; and his siblings, Phil Darden of Little Washington and Maybelle Ezzell (Dennis) of Warsaw. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
