It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Mathis (Mount Olive, North Carolina), who passed away on July 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Mathis to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Lee Mathis of Faison, NC, Lena Mathis of Faison, NC, Alice M. Hicks Greensboro (Eddie) and Elder Linda M. Williams; his aunt Mary Matthews of Smithfield, NC; and his uncles, James Cox of Charlotte, NC and Earnest Cox of Youngsville, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

Due to pandemic concerns, seating capacity will be kept at 45 persons.
