She is survived by : her children, Miranda Pejera of Durham and William Thompson of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Logan Pejera, Mason Pejera, Haley Pejera and Daniel Meffen; and her sisters, Kathy Whitley and Margie McKittrick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews she loved.
