He was predeceased by: his wife Judith "Judy" Myers Brogden; his parents, Clarence W. Brogden and Marie Dixon Brogden; his brother Nelson Brogden; Harvey and Annie Laura Myers.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Bonnie Jones Brogden) and Tracy (Felicia Coker Brogden); his grandchildren, Ethan Brogden, Molly Brogden of Mount Olive, Zachary Brogden (Haley) of Newton Grove, Benjamin Brogden (Skylar) of Mount Olive, Nathan Stafford of Mount Olive, Nikki Lopes of Mount Olive and Haley Stafford of Mount Olive; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Brogden, Owen Heath and Jayden Anderson; and his brother Donald Rex Brogden of Mount Olive.
