She was predeceased by : her parents, Woodrow W. Davis and Garnet Crouse Davis; and her former life partner Milburn W. Pettry Sr.. She is survived by : her husband Deacon; and her sons, Wayne Pettry of Florida, Bruce Pettry (Thoi) of Goldsboro and David Pettry (Janice) of Goldsboro. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
