He is survived by: his wife Joyce Coates; his children, Doug Coates (Lynne), Terry Coates (Julie), Karen Morgan (Dennis), Jaybird Coates (Christa), Lori Thomas (Chuck) and Craig Rashaw (Maggie); his grandchildren, Lee Coates (Kelsey), Dillon Coates, Madelyn Coates, Tyler Sanderson, Georgia Fulghum, Taylor Coates (Kala), Brittany Gose (Anthony), Joshua Morgan (Sherri), Trevor Morgan (Elizabeth), Savanah Jones (Bradley), Jake Coates, Sally Coates, Aaron Thomas and Bailey Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Paisley Coates, Carson Coates, Lainey Coates, Addison Coates, Lenni Kate Coates, Kinsley Pearsall, Hadley Gose, Amberly Morgan, Tyler Morgan, Makenna Morgan, Olivia Morgan, Everette Morgan and Harper Kate Jones.
