He was predeceased by: his parents, Milford Allen and Melverine Blackmon Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Charlene S. "Sandy" Thompson; his children, Christopher A. "Chris" Thompson (Cheryl Tripp), Shannon Stuckey (Lee) of Kenly and Ashley T. Robertson (Zachary) of Youngsville; his siblings, Ronnie Thompson (Mary) of Goldsboro, Linwood Thompson (Joyce) of Goldsboro and Margaret Rashaw (Craig) of Goldsboro; his grandchildren, Sarah Thompson, Brianna Rowe, Allison Stuckey, Abby Stuckey, Rylie Stuckey and Chase Robertson; his great grandchild Kaysleigh Rowe; his close friend Max; and also Kylee.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer society, or to Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
