It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Emanuel Fenton of Mount Olive, North Carolina, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elbert Fenton and Nellie Fenton; his sons, Johnny Davis and Emanuel; his stepchildren, James Leonard (Patricia Ann), Larry Leonard (Sylvia Faye), Daisy Jordan (Ashley), Betty Dent (Harry) and Anthony Davis; and his nephews, Billy Charles and Bishop Peter Fenton. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
