He is survived by: his wife Alicia Pettit Swaney; his daughter Rylee Clemens; his mother Beatrice "Bea" Manning Swaney of La Grange; his brothers, James (Heather Gilbert) and Paul (Amy Gilbert); his father-in-law Gary Pettit of Mount Olive; his sisters-in-law, Trish Robinson (David) of Pikeville and Anna Rosales of Greensboro; his nieces and nephews, J. T., Zack (Brittne), Kirstie, Sierra (Dillon), Lexi, Maddie, Carter, Chloe, Raelynn and Amone; and his pet Snickers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Tyndall Funeral Home (1005 N Church St, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A reception will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 8:00 PM at the Home of Trish and David Robinson (813 Bartlett Rd, Pikeville, NC 27863). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Maplewood Cemetery (165 E Main St, Mt Olive, NC 28365).
