She is survived by: her daughter Bridgette Grimes Bass; her son-in-law Kenny Bass of Mount Olive; her son Anthony Earl Grimes; her daughter-in-law Kimberly Grimes of Mount Olive; her brother Gene; her sister-in-law Brenda Turner of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Rebecca Bass Quinn (Cole), Emily Bass Watson (Chris), Matthew Braxton Bass, Grayson Grimes, Alexis Grimes and Caitlyn Grimes; and her great grandchild Declan Watson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grimes Family Cemetery (98 Coker Store Rd, Mt Olive, NC 28365).
