She was predeceased by: her son Ricky Dean Bennett; her parents, Wade Barwick and Ruby Pate Barwick; her sister Joyce B. Barnette; and her close friend Robert Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth W. "K. B." Bennett (Lisa) of Mount Olive, Terrie Kay Lassiter (David) of Princeton, Barry Ray Bennett (Shana Flood) of Princeton and Laurie Ann Owens of Eureka; her sister Faye B. King (Johnny) of Warsaw; and her grandchildren, Tonya Ann Ginevan, Crystal Bennett, Dustin Bennett, Zachary Wade McCarty, Dylan Kruse McCarty, Josie Rae Highsmith and Barron Keith Bennett. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
