He is survived by: his wife Violet Sasser Goodson; his daughter Crystal Goodson Brock of Mount Olive; his siblings, Glenda Blackman (Lounes) of Goldsboro, George Goodson of Dunn and Tim Goodson of Snow Hill; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bell (Josh), Konner Brock (Rebecca), Kaleb Brock (Harley), Karoline Brown (Dwayne) and Kallie Brock (Ryan Roberts); his great grandchildren, Easton, Carson Bell, Janey Kate, Josie Violet Brock, Carter, Caden, Conner Brown and Sadie Roberts; and his close friend Maxie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
