He was predeceased by: his parents, James Dixon and Rossie Dixon of Mt. Olive. He is survived by: his wife Sue Massengill Dixon; his children, Kelly Dixon Pate (Jason) and Matt Dixon (Sarah); his grandchildren, Thomas, Andrew, John Pate, Taylor, Kate and Noah Dixon; his siblings, Edward Dixon (Pansy), Arnold Dixon (Sharon) and Linda Daw (Tony); his siblings-in-law, Roxie Cauley, Fred Massengill (Carolyn) and Arnold Jarman (Elaine); his sister Delores Dixon Jarman; his parents-in-law, Needham and Sally Massengill; and his brother-in-law Chris Cauley.
