She was predeceased by: her children, Gloria Jean Turner, William Landis Turner and Limon Allen "Boogie" (Carolyn Turner); her grandsons, Stephen Wiggins and Jacob Wiggins; her son-in-law Norman "Butch" Woerner; her parents, Rovie M. Hargrove and Beatrice Horne Hargrove; and her siblings, Thelma Gray, Edward Hargrove, Carl Hargrove, Eugene Hargrove and J. T. Hargrove.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Turner Woerner, Daryle (Karen Turner) and Cary (Janet Turner); her brother Elton; her sister-in-law Brenda Hargrove of Zebulon; and her sisters, Doris Flowers of New Bern and Geraldine (Danny Shipp). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
