She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Britton Carpenter and Lucille Barbara Hostdjor Carpenter; and her husband Christopher Sponaugle. She is survived by : her son Jesse B. Carpenter of Newton Grove; and her granddaughters, Emily Carpenter and Sophie Carpenter. She is also survived by animals, especially dogs with her own pet.
